The application stores customer details and correspondence, and generates quotes, invoices, receipts and customer letters. It also tracks unpaid invoices, reports such as sales history and overdue accounts.
Pros: First part of the application lets you enter details of customers and maintain these contact details. Additionally one is able to look at the history of transactions with the company. This lets you decide what important issues need to be talked about with the customer or what reminders to be given with respect to any unpaid invoices etc.
Several customized letters and labels can be drafted. These are based on Word templates and thus can be modified too. Mail merge also could be used through this package as well. Quotations and invoices are done on the same basis. Quotations can be based on a parts list. Importing of parts list is possible via spreadsheets as can a list of customers.
On the reports front sales to specific customers, outstanding invoices etc can be generated. Some amount of customization specific to the business can be done too. The screens and controls are well organized. Generally, they are easy to use.
Cons: The contact details management is not a complete contact management solution, particularly with respect to sales & marketing aspects of it. Second part of the package is about correspondence which is essentially making the facilities of Word available through templates.
Within its limited goals the package operates fairly well. Overall a 4 star item.
